COMMENTS: Apparently Harold Colton described Grasshopper Polychrome in an unpublished manuscript dated 1943 (Oppelt 2008,16). However, in Colton's published 1965 Checklist of Southwestern Pottery Types Grasshopper Polychrome is not mentioned and Point of Pines Polychrome is.
